I realized something that attracts me to other blogs is usually a unique "about me" section. Jazz hands and lengthy paragraphs about their favorite books are preferable. But really, it's mostly because I value the writer just as much as their work. It's difficult to keep coming back for more posts and hipstogram-ish pictures if you don't even know them on a facebook-basis! SO! Here is the brief, but hopefully in-depth-enough-that-you-can-see-where-my-mind-set-comes-from "about me":
Facebook "About Me": Passionate follower of The Way! Lover of paperback books, blue pens, odd mugs, lots of coffee, and traveling
Twitter "About Me": Daughter of the Almighty King with a love of running, reading, coffee, strange facial expressions, and writing. I'm an English major. Take that as you will.
Tumblr "About Me": S;FLKDGJS;LKFDJGL;KJAS HARRY POTTER, DR. WHO, TOM HIDDLESTON, ASL;DKJF PICTURES OF TREES AND COFFEE MUGS AND JAMES MACAVOY!!!!
SO! There's the starting point. What can I really say? I am a senior in college, freshly 21, and a redeemed follower of Jesus. I am going to be a writer. I trust the Lord to give that incredibly broad and infuriating title more defined terms, but for now, I'm just overjoyed that He brought a desire into my heart to spill words onto blank pages. I adore reading and would love book suggestions. I am a bit of a seasoned traveler - view my backpacking through Europe Blog HERE! Yet I am still an amateur in so many ways. I have curly brown hair, a Beatles obsession, and too many floral scarves. This is where my practicing may commence! Stay tuned.
